Vigilant Books and Café is an independent bookstore destined to open (hopefully in late 2023) in the 1891 Vigilant Firehouse (right) in historic north Wheeling, WV. Because of the large amount of work remaining before the firehouse will be ready, Vigilant Books is at a temporary location at 1900 Market St. (left). We sell quality used books with new ones coming weekly, host author signings & writing groups, and look forward to your visit!
